Through this unique form of poster art we capture the spirit, history and fun of your community.Unlike "action advertising" that is here today and gone tomorrow, this art will be seen by visitors and viewed with pleasure for years to come!
HOW IT WORKS:
Even rocket scientists agree that no other form of promotion is as friendly and effective as GOOD cartoon art! These posters really do get peoples attention. 5,000 posters will be printed and distributed throughout the community. ALSO, an interactive version of the same printed poster will be showcased on the internet, available to literally a world wide audience through your local chamber or tourism web site.
HOW DO I GET MY BUSINESS ON THE POSTER?:
Each business contributes a one time art & production fee. Advertising space is on a first come first serve basis and is limited to 60 businesses. To reserve a place on the poster just choose the option that fits your budget, pay half deposit and your on the map! ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Jon B. Hanley is an internationally recognized cartoonist. His work is published in newspapers, magazines, children's stories and educational programs throughout the world. Awards include the prestigious Gold Circle from Columbia University as the nations top political and comic strip cartoonist in 1987 and 1988. CMA recognition as one of Americas top 8 cartoonists in 1987. International award from Water Pollution Control Federation for his part in illustration and development of Tualatins River Ranger character and comic books. Set painting award from The Kennedy Center for The Performing Arts in Washington D.C. in 2003. Lives and works with his wife and 4 children in La Grande, Oregon.
